Discovering the Dance of Life

Man, Woman, and the Psychology of Marriage

6-Week Core Curriculum

The core curriculum is a research-based, psychological exploration of men, women, and marriage, drawn from decades of teaching, writing, and clinical work.

Its purpose is educational — to teach you how relationships form, why couples struggle, and how understanding and appreciating the differences between men and women can empower you to transform your own experience of loving and being loved.

Overview

This research-based core curriculum examines the psychological foundations of an intimate relationship. Drawing from developmental psychology, attachment theory, gender research, and decades of teaching and clinical experience, this curriculum explores how a man and a woman are shaped by biology, life experience, and their social environment — and how these factors impact marital dynamics.

Together, we will examine foundational beliefs about life, the formation of relationship expectations, the developmental transition into marriage, the psychological features of masculinity and femininity, and recurring patterns in communication, emotion, and intimacy.

Emphasis is placed on increasing self-awareness, understanding gender differences, and applying psychological insight to real-life relational challenges.

Each module includes an introduction to the topic, multiple structured lessons, an experiment to try, and guided reflection designed to translate knowledge into personal insight and practical understanding.

Is this the right fit for you right now?

This curriculum is designed for men and women who want to upgrade how they understand themselves, their mate, and life itself. It is not intended to address situations involving active abandonment, abuse, addiction, or adultery. Those circumstances require specialized support and focused intervention. This program is about personal growth and relational understanding. It cannot control another adult’s choices — and it is not a strategy to win someone back, force change, or repair a crisis.

If you are ready to grow — regardless of what your mate chooses — you are in the right place.
